Directions by car
From the ringroad Amsterdam (A10) follow A7 to the north, in the direction Zaanstad/Purmerend/Leeuwarden. Follow A7 in the direction Leeuwarden/Den Helder. Just before the Afsluitdijk choose direction Den Oever/Den Helder. In Den Helder follow the signs for the ferry to Texel.
Train and bus
From NS trainstation Den Helder every 11 minutes after the hour, there is a bus to the ferry harbour. This bus has a direct connection with the ferry to Texel. Upon arrival on the island, a bus will be waiting for you for the remainder of your trip. Plan your trip.
Ferry
The TESO ferry will take you to the island Texel within half an hour. Tickets are available for cars or footpassengers at the TESO ticketcounter in Den Helder or online. It will not be necessary to make a reservation. Check tickets and timetable on TESO's website.
On the island
Leaving the ferry by car, drive straight ahead to the Pontweg. Turn left at intersection number 11 (Rozendijk). After about 3 km you will see the Aldubo cottage rental sign on your left side. It is also possible to book a Teletaxi at the TESO ticketoffice, which will bring you directly to Aldubo cottage rental.
